In the summer of 2024 we went on a 'St Kilda and the isles of the Outer Hebrides' 10 day cruise on the MV Emma Jane with Hebrides Cruises. Unfortunately the weather wasn't quite on our side as we weren't able to go to St Kilda due to rough seas and the winds being in the wrong direction to be able to anchor in village bay. However we had a fantastic time cruising around the Scottish islands of the Hebrides looking for sea birds and cetaceans, visiting some of the remote islands and anchoring in some spectacular places. We can whole heartily recommend Hebrides cruises, the Emma Jane is a very comfortable boat, Charles was an excellent skipper and his crew were brilliant. Will our wildlife guide was extremely helpful and had an great knowledge of the local wildlife and the islands we visited.
Here are just a few of the many photographs that we took on the trip.
