Our Woodpigeon nest.

Our woodpigeons have had several broods

Their first brood failed due to the eggs being predated by a Carrion Crow. The second brood had two chicks but only one successfully went the full course and fledged. With their third brood the two chicks hatched but both chicks suddenly died after 2 days.

They are back for a fourth brood. The first egg was laid at 18.36 on the 6th September 2024. We are waiting for the second egg to be laid.
